In September, 1998, Barbara Hoch launched a new line of dog apparel, marketed under the name Max's Closet, Designer-inspired line of fashions and accessories for Very Special Dogs. The Fashion Collection was first created for Max, an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, and all of his fashionable friends and now features a great array of coats, sweaters and accessories designed to reflect current trends as well as classic favorites for well loved pets.
In 2001, the Sweet Valentine handmade acrylic sweater line was introduced for all small dogs who also need casual playwear. These sweaters reflect the same fashionable trends but are more moderately priced while still having the same high quality as Max's Closet.
Both lines are decidedly "up-scale" in concept, design and fabrication with unique details and quality, making the collections irresistible for all owners of dogs 20 pounds and under.
Sadly, little Max passed away in 2004; however, Valentine and Kirby, Barbara's two Yorkshire terriers continue to show the line with Max's devine guidance.
